2025 SCOUTS ON THE MOVE…4th Annual Breast Cancer 5K WALK/RUN

 

The 4^th Annual “Scouts on the Move” 5K Walk/Run hosted by the Association of African Methodist Episcopal Scouts (AAMES), whose mission is to encourage and support youth ministries by advancing scouting through collaboration of services, religion and community resources. This collaboration encourages scouts to support causes that matter in their daily lives. Breast Cancer is our cause!

 

On Saturday,  October 11, 2025 at 8:00am, AAMES and Sisters Helping Sisters invites youth and adult walkers/runners and volunteers to join us for this Walk/Run which will benefit the Edith P. Wright Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. Walk/Run with us through Fort Washington National Park as we watch the sunrise over the Potomac River, that leads into Washington, D.C., as it has done for over 200 years. If you are unable to join us at the park, join us virtually, Oct 1-31st, at a time and location of your choice for 3.1miles. Our collective commitment will help achieve our goal of raising $25,000 in support of this cause. We can succeed with your help!
