Join AAMES

  • Membership

    The Members of this Association consists of: (1) adult individuals in scouting, and (2) AME Churches that support the AAMES Mission.

  • Associate Membership

    Any individual member of an AME Church who is not in scouting or any individual who is not a member of an AME Church shall be deemed an Associate Member but shall not have voting rights, nor shall they be officers of AAMES.

  • Sustaining Members

    Any member, associate member or sponsor who agrees to support the Association with a designated fee for a period of twelve months consecutively.

  • Annual Fees

    Membership requires annual dues and shall be payable in advance on or before May 1 of each year. To maintain active membership, dues must be paid by individuals and churches by May 1 of each year.

  • Member Resignation

    A member desiring to resign from the Association shall notify the AAMES Secretary in writing, and the same shall be deleted from the membership roster.

Adult AME members who are active in Scouting.

Any individual member of an AME Church who is not in Scouting or  any individual who is not a member of an AME Church. (restricted from voting, holding office or  chairing committees)

Institutional

ALL AME Churches that charter/sponsor a Boy Scouts of America  (BSA) or Girl Scouts of the United States of America (GSUSA) Unit.
