HOW TO CELEBRATE?

• Allow your scouting units (Girl Scouts & Boy Scouts) to lead worship on this day.
• Don’t have a scouting unit? No worries! Simply invite scouting units and/or their Color Guard in your local area to attend worship and present the colors.
• Invite professional staff from your local Girl Scout and Boy Scout councils to promote scouting at the worship service
• Identify and encourage all current and former scouts to participate in the worship service.
• Nominate and award the AME God &Service Award to deserving adults in the congregation (www.praypub.org/adult-nominations).
• Nominate and award the P.R.A.Y. Publications Building Faith in Youth Award to deserving adults in the congregation (www.praypub.org/adult-nominations).
• Nominate and award the Bishop’s Award of Excellence to deserving youths and/or adults (www.amescouts.org/awards/bishops-award-of-excellence-nomination/)
• Promote the Religious Emblem Awards administered by P.R.A.Y. Publications (www.praypub.org)
• Center the worship experience around faith, service, character &citizenship.
• Promote AAMES’ 30/30 Campaign during the worship service and in your digital worship bulletin, newsletter, etc.
• Receive an offering to support the work of AAMES. 10% of all funds will be donated to P.R.A.Y. Publications.
