The 5th Annual “Scouts on the Move” 5K Walk/Run hosted by the Association of African Methodist Episcopal Scouts (AAMES), whose mission is to encourage and support youth ministries by advancing scouting through collaboration of services, religion and community resources. This collaboration encourages scouts to support causes that matter in their daily lives. Breast Cancer is our cause!

On Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 8:00am, AAMES and Sisters Helping Sisters invites youth and adult walkers/runners and volunteers to join us for this Walk/Run which will benefit the Edith P. Wright Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. Walk/Run with us, as we trek along the Henson Creek. The trail crosses under Brinkley Road and passes the 125-acre Rosecroft Raceway, while also crossing under Bock Road, you’ll arrive at the Tucker Road Athletic Complex, which features picnic shelters, tennis courts, ball fields, ice-skating, an archery range, and a kid-friendly fishing pond and pier. If you are unable to join us at the park, join us virtually, Oct 1-31st, at a time and location of your choice for 3.1miles. Our collective commitment will help achieve our goal of raising $25,000 in support of this cause. We can succeed with your help!
