My name is Anthony Ira Franklin. I have been a Boy Scout for one year at Troop 263 at DuPage AME Church, Lisle, Illinois. I decided to start a garden this year because, fresh vegetables are healthy for you. I enjoy working the garden. I started my project in May by clearing and Tilling a 25 X 25 foot plot of land, then building 6 feet plant boxes. I also built a fence and buried it 2 feet underground to keep the rabbits from getting into the garden by digging under the fence. The garden is still a work in progress. My goal is to share the vegetables with others in the future. Attached are photos of the process to date. My tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, mustard greens, cabbages and spinach are now flowering.
